WINTER FLIGHTS (2017-18)
Yes, we fly in winter too! Our winter season starts as soon as the ski lifts up to Rothorn are open (usually around the start of December, depending on snow conditions).
Normally just the Classic High flight from Rothorn is available, but every now and then the Elite flight from Klein Matterhorn (the highest flight in the Alps) is also an option. Flights are usually super smooth in winter and we have fun swooping over skiers and enjoying the snowy landscape of Zermatt.
SPRING FLIGHTS (2018)
Our spring season starts when the Rothorn ski lifts close for the winter (the end of April) and we head up to Gornergrat and make a take off in the still deep winter snow. The Gornergrat Glacier flights are amazing, often flying over the Gorner Glacier and thermalling up next to the Kulm Hotel. Starting in June, as soon as the snow has melted, we can also fly the Scenic Flight from Riffelberg.
SUMMER FLIGHTS (2018)
Paragliding in the Swiss Alps during summer is an experience not to be missed. Enjoy pleasant temperatures, clean alpine air and spectacular views of the towering 4000m peaks, including the famous Matterhorn.
All of our flights finish at the landing field behind Zermatt train station (unless otherwise stated).
Mornings are best!
Weather conditions can change quickly in Zermatt’s high alpine environment but mornings are generally more predictable. Plan your flight for the earlier part of the day to minimize the risk of missing out.
Experience a bird’s eye view of the Swiss Alps with one of the following tandem paragliding flights.
AUTUMN FLIGHTS (2018)
Some of the most gentle and enjoyable conditions can be found at the end of summer – soft thermals and light winds are typical for this time of year. These flights run from the end of September until the snow comes or the start of December (whichever comes first).
Optional Extras – Photos & Videos
Your pilot will film your flight and take photos with a specially built extendable stick carrying a GoPro camera – come to our fly shop after your flight to check them out, they’re quite amazing!
If you’d like to purchase the photos and videos that your pilot has taken, the cost is 40.- CHF for the original 16 GB MicroSD chip from the GoPro. Also included are an SD and USB adapter, meaning you can copy your photos and videos to any computer, tablet or phone.

Alpine Adventures Paragliding is now called FlyZermatt
We're just in the midst of rebranding the paragliding part of our business, from Alpine Adventures Paragliding Zermatt, to just simply "FlyZermatt" -- much shorter and easier for everyone! Over the last year we've been working hard to rebuild our Fly Shop on the main street of Zermatt. At some poin this summer we'll be done and all of these little (and not so little) bits and pieces, such this new website, will be
